1. “Upperclassmen, especially the seniors, lose their senior experience, but online learning gives you a lot of freedom and lets some of the upperclassmen focus on work. It [online learning] can be a little distracting though: you could be doing really anything when you’re on your computer, so it’s up to the student to get their work done which could be viewed as a good thing too.”
2. “I think more students will think more for themselves now, because some of the teachers right now are assigning more project work where you can’t cheat or have any guidance from peers like the majority of us originally thought we’d have. I would say that online learning will help more people advocate for themselves and do their own work. It may also take a toll on education because you’re only in class for so long and the homework can be overkill, which allows the opportunity for students to get sidetracked during lectures. People may be a little shocked from all of this when they come back in person.”
