Meet junior Alvin Moy, who started off playing the violin during elementary school. Once he found out about the cello, however, he quickly switched over and began his journey of becoming an amazing cello player. Through many practices and efforts that have been put forth, he now has become quite skilled with the instrument. His skills have even brought him up to being first-chair in his section as well as being able to join the symphonic orchestra for his senior year at North. In today’s episode, he discusses why he exactly chose to play the cello, what challenges he had to deal with, what are his plans with the cello for the future and much more.
