During the homecoming football game on Oct. 18, senior Messiah Smith jukes his defender for the first down. Smith would go on to complete a 60-yard touchdown, helping the Vikings beat Fox 35-14.Early in the game, senior Jordan Clark lines up to route his Fox opponent to hopefully get a touchdown or a first down. The Vikings were favored to win the game since their record was 6-2 going into the game and Fox’s record was 3-5.Senior Jodee Fortenberry takes down the Fox opponent. Once the defense cleared the way, Messiah Smith, Dakarri Hollis, and Collin Griffin all completed touchdowns putting the Viking on top.Senior Everett Cui talks to his teammate Jordan Clark about the previous play that happened on defense. Communication on the field is important on the field because it is needed to stop touchdowns and could lead to a win.
