On Feb. 23, Parkway North held a special assembly to celebrate Black History Month. The phrase Black history is American history was repeated multiple times throughout the show, which is what makes honoring it so important.

Priscu and the DHH program are new to Parkway North, although the DHH program has been offered in other parts of the district previously.
