Diana Baeza

Diana Baeza, Personality Perfectionist

Hello, I’m Diana Baeza, and this is my second year in Newspaper. I chose to be a Personality Perfectionist because I enjoy meeting new people, really getting to know them and writing stories about them. I’m glad to be back on this little crazy ride.

“My biological parents were trying to take care of me, but likely couldn’t meet the needs to treat my cleft palate due to financial problems… my mom has always said that my birth mom did the hardest thing a mother could do, which is to leave their child,” said junior Sebastian Quinones, who was adopted from China by Puerto Rican parents on Jan. 29, 2007, at the age of three.

“I will miss the sense of community the most. I’ve always been someone who’s said I hate high school, but now looking back I’m going to miss everyone so much and I wish I didn’t take it all for granted. We’re about to go our separate ways and I’ll never see a lot of these people again. It really sucks that we aren’t even getting to say goodbye to everyone because of the school year ending early. Going to an entirely new school this fall is going to be so different and scary and I’m really going to miss seeing all the familiar faces in the halls,” said Sarah Koutchoukali.

“I think it depends on the classes you teach. I really wish I could do more with flexible seating but I’m unable to because of the nature of the courses.” said Hertlein “I do like the fact that students can access things at home so there are no excuses for ‘i don’t have software to get my work done’ but there are times where we have little glitches.”
