- In The beginning of the game, the Vikings introduce themselves to the opponents and audience before the tip off. The cheerleaders cheer on the varsity boys as they enter the court.
- Junior Joshua Nichols shows emotion after an upset after a foul was called on him. This allowed Parkway South to keep the ball but wasn’t able to score.
- Junior Josh Shannon gets back on defense after scoring the Vikings first points of the game. “I felt good after scoring. It gets me hyped up and motivated,” Shannon said.
- Senior Cortez Johnson takes two free throws after getting fouled by Parkway South. Sadly, he missed both but runs back to get back on defense.
- Sophomore Josh Shannon holds the ball so the clock can run out and celebrate with the Vikings over the takedown of Parkway South.
- Junior Benton Mohrmann helps out his teammate junior Caleb Foster by picking up a offensive player that was wide open. The Vikings defense stopped the Patriots from scoring once again.
- The Vikings huddles up and talks about how to properly defeat Parkway South during a timeout. At this point, the Vikings were winning and wanted to keep the lead. They ended the game with 51-49 a victory over South.
- Senior Christian Dake takes some free throws at the end of the game to put North into a two point lead in the final seconds of the game, when shooting the free throws. “I think about my routine, which I've been doing daily for years, and having confidence that my muscle memory will lead to a make. The game against Parkway South went well because we came out with a win as a team. I wouldn't change anything about this game because the most important result happened which was winning,” Dake said.
